BUDGET SURPLUS AT CAPITOL BRINGS OUT BIG IDEAS

At the Capitol this year there’s a lot of ideas of what to do with the extra $17 billion that the state has right now. Two first term legislators shared their ideas and priorities for what’s left of the session.

DONATION ALLOWS FOR MORE HOMELESSNESS OUTREACH WITH SPRING LAKE PARK POLICE

The Spring Lake Park Police Department is able to continue a homelessness outreach program, thanks to a generous donation from a member of the city council. The police will soon have more of what they call interaction kits – some basic supplies and resources that could be helpful to someone experiencing homelessness.
